HPC Facilities

TPAC offers the following HPC facilities for research purposes:

Hardware:

  • Two SGI ICE 8200’s with 1024 CPU cores across two racks
  • 1.7TB memory
  • 200TB of DMF cache
  • 100TB of SAS scratch
  • 2PB of tape storage
  • Fully connected via Infiniband

 

Software:

Core operating system: Suse Enterprise Linux (SLES)

Supported usage profile:

A default user has access of up to 128 cores, and can schedule jobs into a number of queues. For further information please contact TPAC.
