Step One - UTAS account)

• Important Note: if you already possess a UTAS account, please proceed to Step Two. Do NOT complete Step One if you already have a UTAS email account, student ID or staff ID.
• Download, print and complete the UTAS IT Facilities Use Agreement PDF form
• Fax or email the completed Facilities Usage Agreement form, along with a copy of some photo ID to: fax (03) 6226 7171 OR email: helpdesk@tpac.org.au
• Fill in the UTAS online account application - Important: please put 'helpdesk@tpac.org.au' as the Co-ordinator email address

Step Two - HPC account)

• Complete the TPAC HPC Account Request Form online and an email will be sent to the HPC Systems Administrator for approval

APAC Account Application

There are three ways to obtain an account on the APAC facility. For evaluation of the suitability of the APAC facility for particular research projects, short duration (3 month non-renewable) apply for a start-up grant. For small projects apply through the TPAC partner share program. For large projects apply through the APAC Merit Allocation Scheme (MAS)

APAC Start-up Grant
Apply directly to APAC via their online application form

TPAC Partner Share Program
To obtain an APAC account through the partner share program, fill out an online application form on the APAC web site. The application will be forwarded to a TPAC representative for approval.

Merit Allocation Scheme
This is a competitive grant system, a general discription of the scheme is provided. Apply directly to APAC via their online application form.
