The Research Division, in conjunction with the Tasmanian Partnership for Advanced Computing (TPAC), invites all researchers and HDR candidates to an information session on the University’s High Performance Computing (HPC) capabilities and operations.
TPAC recently commissioned a new HPC centre on the Sandy Bay campus, with the following specifications:
- 256 Huawei E9000 nodes
- 7,168 cores
- 32TB of memory, 128GB per node
- Storage via DMF
This a great opportunity to learn directly from the builders of the new HPC system to help you get the most out of the new system.
The information session will be presented by the vendor, Xenon, at the Sandy Bay campus and video linked to Newnham and Inveresk.
